The next season runs from November 2023 through the end of February 2024. Our team will compete in the Winter Wrestling Series at Top of the Podium.

The Winter Wrestling Season will run from November to the end of February. Practices will be held at South Lakes High School in Reston VA on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Here are the details of the Wrestling Season::
Safety Protocol: Top of the Podium Wrestling Center has been a leader in helping our sport reduce exposure to COVID-19. TOP's Operation Safe Mat Return has been used by governing bodies and other clubs to run safer and more responsible events. The Hawks will follow these guidelines for all practices to include daily screenings of all participants, limited partners and exposure to other athletes, restricted capacity, enhanced cleaning, and more. Athletes can register with a trusted partner or request an assigned partner.

Location: South Lakes Hight School in Reston VA
Age/Experience: Grades K-8; wrestlers will be broken out by age/experience level as much as possible.

- Grades 4-8 - Mondays, Wednesdays 7:00pm - 8:30pm and Thursday 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Age/Experience: Grades K-8; wrestlers will be broken out by age/experience level as much as possible.

Not Included in registration: USA membership, Competition uniforms, wrestling shoes, head gear and mouth guard (for braces). Families will have the option to purchase competition uniforms (wrestling singlets) or fight shorts and compression shirts at the start of the season.

Team categories
Junior Hawks (grades k-3)
Objective: To introduce younger kids to the sport of wrestling in a fun filled environment.
- No experience required
- 2 practices per week
Elementary School (grades 4-5)
Objective: To build on the basic techniques of wrestling and prepare each individual for competition.
- No experience required
- 3 practices per week
Middle School (grades 6-8)
* 6th graders will be classified as middle schoolers to align with Top of the Podium age groups.
Objective: To build on the basic techniques of wrestling and prepare each individual for high school level wrestling.
