For those who are interested in participating in some form of wrestling activity, we are offering a Practice Only “Pre-Season” Session. This will run from November 9 - December 18 (with a break during Thanksgiving week), Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Practices will be held at Top of the Podium in Sterling VA.
Here are the details of the Pre-Season Program we are offering: Safety Protocol: Top of the Podium Wrestling Center has been a leader in helping our sport reduce exposure to COVID-19. TOP's Operation Safe Mat Return has been used by governing bodies and other clubs to run safer and more responsible events. The Hawks will follow these guidelines for all practices to include daily screenings of all participants, limited partners and exposure to other athletes, restricted capacity, enhanced cleaning, and more. Athletes can register with a trusted partner or request an assigned partner. Overview: 2x/week practices in November/December at TOP Dates: November 9 - December 18 with a break during Thanksgiving week. Times: Mondays, Wednesdays 5:30pm - 7:00pm and (Friday 5:30pm - 7:00pm - Advance Group only) Age/Experience: Grades K-8; wrestlers will be broken out by age/experience level as much as possible. Fees: $110; wrestlers must purchase their own USA Wrestling memberships from www.usawmembership.com (only $15) and show card at the first practice. Please associate your membership with "Herndon Reston Wrestling Association" No Walk-Ins allowed. All participants must register in advance. |
