Herndon Reston Youth Wrestling
Herndon Reston Wrestling Association (HRWA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit youth wrestling organization whose purpose is to promote and grow the sport of wrestling within the Northern Virginia area. HRWA is dedicated to utilizing the fundamentals of the great sport of wrestling to build life-long skills of self-discipline, self-confidence, leadership, sportsmanship, accountability and excellence in an organized and competitive environment.
At HRWA, self-discipline is the quality of self-denial in pursuit of your goals. It is the strength of your willpower to maintain that denial and overcome any inevitable obstacles and distractions that may derail your goals.
At HRWA, self-confidence is about believing. Trusting your abilities and qualities is one of the most powerful tools to learn as a youth wrestler.
At HRWA, leadership is not about a title. It is about your impact, influence and inspiration to others. Display your results and influence others by spreading the passion of that hardwork.
At HRWA, sportsmanship is about showing respect to others. Stay humble in victory or defeat.
At HRWA, accountability means personal responsibility. Take responsibility for your actions and don’t blame others or circumstances.
At HRWA, we want our wrestlers to have a reputation of being the hardest workers, most respectful and most accomplished.
